Each Sunday there will be time to hear a Friend from each of these traditions respond to queries about how Light works in their lives and to ask questions and respond to the queries ourselves.
Participants will gather at a central location and drive to the day's site. Time of day will vary, depending on each meeting's schedule.

Be Thou in the World
what can New England Friends say about our outward work?
Brian Drayton will lead us in an examination of the historical and spiritual tradition our outward work arises from.
Greg Williams will moderate a panel discussion of witness and Quaker
community sharing experiences of how individual and corporate witness
live in our meeting communities.
Will Jennings will facilitate our discernment – what can we say about
how we are called to witness, how we test our call, and what enables
and strengthens us?
9 AM – 4 PM Saturday
April 26, 2008
at Beacon Hill Friends House*
Tuition: $30
In the days of George Fox, Friends proclaimed the Truth far and wide. Since then we have been Quietists, evangelists, missionaries and activists by turns. Now our meetings search for "œcorporate mission". Some of us long to tell the world about our Quaker faith. And over and over we are reminded that the world cries out for our peace witness. At this workshop individual Friends will tell of their experiences in activism and outreach and we will consider what it means to be called to be "in the world, but not of the world" - focussing on how we are called, individually and corporately, to be IN the world.
Register in advance. Your advance registration is needed
