Quaker Studies offers you an opportunity to explore Quakerism through study and workshops. Our online courses are open to all - wherever you live, whether you've ever been to a Quaker meeting or not!
And we continue to offer the in-person courses in the Boston area which Quaker Studies has presented since 1993!

About registration:

Gifts: choose the course; register and pay; email the coordinator, explaining that this is a gift registration and for whom. We'll email you a gift certificate.

When you register in advance you make our courses possible! Our course leaders spend hours in preparation and often plan activities that depend on how many people will participate.

Pay your tuition for local programs in advance and avoid a $5 surcharge! .

In 2010-11 we offer you a Speaker Series, online courses, local courses and workshops and a hybrid course which combines a weekend retreat and an online component. You will need to register in advance for courses and workshops. For more information about any program, click on the program name...

Radical Quaker Challenge: reading Gwyn's Unmasking the Idols with Eric Edwards - starting September 27 Based on readings from Gwyn's work, this is a chance to examine the images that we may put in place of authentic spiritual experience. Integrity: What's in a testimony? with Sarah Spencer - Starting October 6 Looking at the "truth" testimony, integrity, we will attempt to consider truthfulness as an ethical issue, using Lying by Sissela Bok, growth in integrity as Quakers have experienced it, and compare how ethics and Quaker faith look at the qualities we call testimonies.
