Beacon Hill Friends Meeting Silent Auction

Final Week

This is the way the auction ends...This is what seems fair and workable to the auctioneer. Email bidding will close at 9 pm on Saturday, June 3. The auctioneer will post an update before 8 pm on the 3rd so you can see if you need to bid again. On Sunday June 4, there will be open bidding at the rise of meeting, lasting until 12:20 (because business meeting should begin at 12:30). High bidders will be informed within 1 week. Donors will be notified and put in contact with high bidders as soon as high bidders' checks are received.

How to bid.

If you have an item to auction off...

Need inspiration? Check out the Wanted section to learn what your friends are interested in paying for! Or post a request of your own!

Get the latest version: This page is updated regularly. Your browser probably saves copies of pages because that way you don't have to wait for them to load. So click on the REFRESH or RELOAD button or find Refresh or Reload in the menus and see what's new! Update 8:00 6/3

For multiples, the number in parentheses is the number of bids at this level currently placed. If the donor offers 2 of the item and the number in parentheses is 2 you must place a higher bid. If the number was 1, you could place an equal or higher bid.

This summer, the Graces will be bringing home a large quantity of hand-made Kenyan craft items, to sell as a fund-raiser for their ministry in Kenya. By bidding on this "private sale", you get the privilege of first pick at their inventory. The winning bidder can peruse all the goods, pick any one item for free, and purchase as many other items as their pocketbook will allow. The only hitch -- you must be able to come to where the Graces are staying in Cambridge during the week of July 8-14. Imagine -- completing your Christmas shopping in July!
