Educational Program
The mission of the house is to provide information and education about the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers). In addition to supporting the residential community as they learn to live together, Beacon Hill Friends House offers the following programs:

Quaker Studies Program
In partnership with Salem Quarterly Meeting, the House sponsors the Quaker Studies Program. Each year a varied set of programs are offered, usually in the form of a one day program or short series of evening seminars. The courses are open to anyone desiring to learn more about the Religious Society of Friends and Quakerism. They are for new or casual attenders as well as regular attenders and experienced Friends. Compelling Voices among New England Friends

Ernest and Esther Weed
Memorial Lecture.
Ernest and Esther Weed were long time co-directors of the House during its formative years. In their memory Beacon Hill Friends House presents an annual lecture delivered by a distinguished Friend on an aspect of Quakerism of interest to the wider Quaker community. This lecture is presented in earlyspring of each year.

Twice a year Beacon Hill Friends House publishes a newsletter for its alumni and friends. They contain news of from those who have lived here, happenings at the House, and some other articles of interest. The most recent are here in PDF format and can be downloaded. Publications:
Beacon Hill Friends House publishes two series of pamphlets. The first series is comprised of the annual Weed Lectures. The second series explores issues of interest to the wider Quaker community.
