Quaker Studies Program
In partnership with Salem Quarterly Meeting, the House sponsors the Quaker Studies Program. Each year a varied set of programs are offered, usually in the form of a one day program or short series of evening seminars. The courses are open to anyone desiring to learn more about the Religious Society of Friends and Quakerism. They are for new or casual attenders as well as regular attenders and experienced Friends. For a listing of the currently scheduled programs and registration information please visit the Quaker Studies Program web site.
Ernest and Esther Weed
Memorial Lecture
Ernest and Esther Weed were long time co-directors of the House during its formative years. In their memory Beacon Hill Friends House presents an annual lecture delivered by a distinguished Friend on an aspect of Quakerism of interest to the wider Quaker community. This lecture is normally presented in early spring of each year, but that may vary depending on schedules.
